The length of time until computers can actually reason, adapt, think, problem solve, tell stories, and understand and produce humor? These are all questions which computer scientists working on automated business optimization programming and theory are thinking about today. When will a machine, or computer system become aware, aware of itself, thus alive, and thinking?

Much of this is philosophical, because of this that some wonder in reverse, in other words; are humans really thinking or merely addressing stimuli really predictable way?

Recently, there were some top scientists and computer engineers within the field suggesting that mankind in their find a thinking computer, true intelligence, has moved inside the wrong direction, knowning that a neural network, which would be described as a completely different configuration will be more appropriate, something less than dissimilar from the way the Internet works where each point might do many calculations or differing types.

As there are another group insisting that true artificial intelligence needs to be able to forget in order to work correctly in order that it doesn't exhibit schizophrenic behavior (which was observed by the way), plus the power to get some things wrong.

Simply mimicking human expression, or responding using data bases of phrases is not really thinking. Even CRM software which touts itself to artificially intelligent driven is not really aware, it isn't really really thinking, and although it might pass the Turing Test; a chance to fool a human into believing it's really a real person these are talking too. But, I'd advise a true thinking computer could possibly consider the reverse, and realize if it's talking to a genuine human or speaking with another computer.

Perhaps later on all those lines can be so blurred about make Turing Test irrelevant?

Indeed, there were entire chains of AI computers which speak to the other person in Internet Forums. It seems as though this is a conversation between two different people, but the dialogue is totally shallow, with no original thinking really, even though some in the responses are interesting, some laughable, but humans too make stupid remarks often enough and one only must surf Facebook for 5-minutes to determine that.

Will computers be capable to think? Well, assuming you mean; the way humans think, the answer is yes, eventually.

Currently, it seems like the Turing Test has become achieved, on the other hand ask is that the real test or threshold you should be considering. The first choice for thought that not only can AI become aware, but it'll out think humans by combining the very best of all possible, likewise modified humans, "transhumans" for a moment, coupled to computer devices can do precisely the same, knowning that my friends is simply a a few time. So, please consider pretty much everything and think about it.
